How we work —
and what it costs.
No pricing calculator. The binding figure comes out of the analysis, not before it. What determines it is set out here in the open.
Four steps.
Each one you can stop.
You never commit to the whole road — only ever to the next step.

01
First conversation & demo
You tell us how the business runs and where time disappears. If you'd like, we build a demo beforehand — what a system would take over, where it connects, roughly what it costs — and walk through it with you. No slides, no pitch.
- Duration
- 60 minutes
- Cost
- none, demo included
-
02
Analysis & assessment
We look closely at the processes involved: which systems take part, what volumes occur, which rules apply. You receive a written assessment covering effort, benefit and risk — including when it argues against a project.
- Duration
- 1–2 weeks
- Cost
- fixed price, agreed in advance
-
03
Prototype
A working system on a real process, not an example. We agree the acceptance criteria together before anything is built, so that at the end it is measurable whether it does what was discussed.
- Duration
- 2–4 weeks
- Cost
- fixed price with acceptance criteria
-
04
Operation & development
We monitor, maintain and extend the system as your processes change. One named contact, one monthly price — and documentation good enough for you to continue without us, here or elsewhere.
- Duration
- ongoing
- Cost
- monthly, cancellable
What determines
the price.
Four quantities, nothing else. Know them and you can check our quote yourself.
Complexity of the process
One trigger and one clear rule is cheap. Branches, exceptions, and cases that need human judgement cost development time — every single one.
Number of connected systems
Two modern systems with a documented interface connect quickly. A decades-old ERP installation without an API is a project of its own.
Processing volume
The same process at 50 events a month is a different thing than at 10,000 — technically, and in what it is worth to you. Both show up in the price.
Level of support
A stable process needs little attention. A system that keeps growing with your operations needs regular work from us.
Orders of magnitude,
not a quote.
So you know whether we fit the budget at all, before you invest any time.
These ranges come from our own costing — build, operation and support. They are indicative, not a quote and not a price list. What your case costs, we know after the analysis.
What every quote
of ours says.
- AI usage billed at cost. What the models consume is listed separately and passed on unchanged. We make nothing on your usage.
- Swiss hosting included. Part of the operating price. Only exceptionally compute-heavy workloads are quoted separately — and discussed first.
- No setup fee, no licence margin. No markup on third-party software, and no line items that appear for the first time on the final invoice.
- Monthly, not a grand project. You pay for a system that is running, not for a promise. If it doesn't carry its weight, you stop.
- Your configuration is yours. Data, configuration and documentation are handed over on request — to you or to someone else.
What we
don't do.
The more honest half of an introduction.
- We don't build what doesn't pay. If the analysis shows a process runs better or cheaper without AI, we write that down. You then pay for the analysis — and for no project.
- We don't promise numbers we don't have. There is no savings percentage and no client list on this site. NLS is young. What you read here are our standards, not our track record.
- We don't lock you in. No minimum term on operation, no data format you can't get out of, no dependency on us as individuals.
- We don't take every engagement. There are two of us. If we can't run a project at the quality it needs, we say so before the contract rather than after.
One hour, and
you'll know more.
The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. At worst you leave with an honest assessment that argues against a project.
